I love hard to kill houseplants, even ones that are easy to kill, lol. Mostly because I believe that they are very important to have in your home and office. Plants are great for making a space not only feel inviting but they also improve your air quality.
People often tell me that I have a “green thumb” and I'm always very tickled. Let me be the first to say that I do have a bit of color on my thumb but it sure isn't green.
Over the years and going through trial and error, I've learned how to select houseplants that are hard to kill. In this blog post, I'm going to share with you three houseplants that will have everyone saying that you have a “green thumb” too.
Annndddd, I'm also including REALLY GOOD fake plants that won't disappoint, just in case you don't want to mess around with real plants. Yes, girl, I got you!
I'm also dropping deets as to why Feng Shui enthusiast love them. Don't keep this a secret, share it with your friends so that they'll receive the “you have a green thumb” compliments too, LOL. I hope you enjoy it.

Mother-in-Laws Tongue
Mother-in-laws Tongue (Sansevieria): Also called a snake plant, this is a very hardy plant that will last years indoors in a low light area. According to feng shui, because the leaves of Sansevieria grow upwards, the plants can be used for feng shui purposes.
Some feng shui practicers believe that having Sansevieria near children helps reduce coarseness, although care must be taken to ensure the child cannot reach the plant's poisonous leaves. Others recommend placing pots near the toilet tank to counter the drain-down vibrations.
